Tracking Orders
After placing an order, customers can monitor its progress from their account dashboard.
Viewing Orders
Go to My Account → My Orders. The list shows all orders with:

Order Statuses

| Returned | Item(s) returned to the seller |

Order Detail
Click View on any order to see:
- Full itemised list with images, names, quantities, and prices
- Billing and shipping addresses used
- Payment method and transaction ID
- Current status with timestamps for each status change
- Tracking information (if entered by the store)
Tracking a Shipment
When the store marks an order as Shipped, a tracking number and carrier are added. Click Track Order to see the tracking information.
For real-time tracking, visit the carrier's website directly and enter the tracking number.
Cancelling an Order
Orders in Pending or Processing status may be eligible for cancellation:
- Go to My Orders.
- Click View on the order.
- Click Cancel Order.
- Select a reason and confirm.
Cancellation requests are processed by the store admin. Once the order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled — contact the store for a return.
Retry a Failed Payment
If a payment attempt failed and your order is stuck in Pending status:
- Go to My Orders and open the order.
- Click Retry Payment.
- You are taken back to the payment step — select a payment method and try again.
No additional charge is created until the retry is successful. The original failed attempt is recorded in the order history.
Returns and Refunds
If you need to return a delivered order:
- Contact the store within the return window (typically specified in the store's Terms & Conditions).
- The store admin will review your request and mark the order as Returned.
- Once the physical return is received and processed, a Refunded status is applied and the refund is issued via the original payment method.

Actual refund times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Writing a Product Review
After your order is marked as Delivered, you can leave a review for each product you purchased:
- Go to My Orders and find the delivered order.
- Click Write a Review next to the product.
- Select a star rating (1–5 stars).
- Write your review in the text field.
- Click Submit Review.
Reviews appear on the product detail page and help other shoppers make purchase decisions. If the store has Review Moderation enabled, your review will be held for admin approval before appearing publicly.

Downloading an Invoice
Once your order is confirmed:
- Open the order detail page.
- Click Download Invoice.
- A PDF invoice is downloaded to your device.
The invoice includes the order number, itemised products, prices, shipping, tax, and grand total. Keep it for your records, warranty claims, or expense reporting.
Order Email Notifications
SnapCart sends automatic emails at key stages of your order:

Check your spam or junk folder if you don't see these emails. Add the store's sender address to your contacts to ensure delivery.
